iCatalyst delivers system-wide transformation for Catholic Education Western Australia

Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) transformed its financial operations by implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, consolidating nine separate legal entities into one and standardising its financial platform across its 151 schools. This transition simplified data access, improved audit readiness, and enhanced financial reporting.

To manage its transformation, CEWA partnered with iCatalyst, recognised for its financial expertise and agile approach. Initially uncertain about the solution’s suitability, CEWA worked with iCatalyst to build a demo environment that provided a visual approach to design and supported decision-making outcomes.

Confident in Dynamics 365, iCatalyst expanded the solution with Power BI reporting, Azure and data warehouse integration, and the ExFlow AP automation suite. iCatalyst also filled internal resourcing gaps, supported the financial team with real-world insights, and added value through strategic design and delivery.

As a result, CEWA now generates quarterly financial reports in days instead of months, enables auditors to securely self-serve data, and supports improved governance and deeper financial analysis.
